Billing Data
Giving access to billing data is necessary for most customers after the POC phase. It is used to further calibrate your spend and the savings estimates to give the highest degree of accuracy. You may want to do this from the start, or add it later once you start using the Optimizer.

NB: Please ensure you set up the detailed cost export.
This will ensure that your billing data is being exported to a BigQuery dataset. Subsequently, ensure that the service account you setup with Alvin in the previous step is given read access to this dataset, and share the project/dataset name with Alvin.
Once this is done, Alvin will have access to your GCP billing data and it can be used to tune the cost allocation metrics automatically.
